The Dream Chaser, basically  is a manned orbital space plane being developed by Space Dev, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC). The Dream Chaser is planned to be designed in such a way that it would be able to transport the crew and the cargo, both to the International Space Station and return the crew safely to the earth.  The space plane (dream chaser) would launch vertically on the  Atlas V and obviously land horizontally on the conventional runways, just like the routine airlines. The Dream Chaser has also got its model as that of the normal private jets.

Auroral displays of lights are one of the mesmerising displays of light by nature. One of the facts we already know about the auroral lights is that they are known as the northern lights and the southern lights or more technically stated as the aurora borealis and the aurora australis (north and south respectively). But, there is much more we should know about these wonderful displays of light. Whether it is aurora borealis or aurora australis, they have some facts associated with them, which are presented below.

The Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights are the beautiful and usually dynamic displays of light that appear in the Antarctic skies particularly active in the winter season. These mesmerising displays of light, as the name “australis” suggests, are visible from high southern latitudes in Antarctica, South America, New Zealand and Australia. The Aurora Australis is caused by plasma particles from the sun (which are part of the solar wind) entering into the earth’s atmosphere. Collisions between the electrically charged particles and Earth’s magnetic field ionize oxygen and nitrogen atoms, releasing lights of different colours which are known as the aurora australis or the southern lights.

Space Travel, the walk on the nearby or distant planets, satellites and other astronomical bodies by the space travellers seems to be very interesting and quite simple if we go through the fiction books on space travel or any of the science fiction movies depicting the travel of humans on space. But if you, as a human go serious thinking of the travel in the space, you should always be aware of the after effects of the space travel on human bodies. It is not that simple to travel in space by any ordinary human being due to many adverse conditions prevailing in the outer space such as zero gravity, weightlessness, direct exposure to harmful radiations, to name a few, which we humans are not addicted to in our planet, earth.

Space tourism, the travel in space by human beings was earlier conceived to be a mere science fiction, but now it has gained momentum and a newfound importance in realistic lives of the researchers and others who have a staunch desire to explore the unexplored space around the planet they live. In context of travelling from one place to another, i.e. tourism, Space tourism is a relatively new concept, not theatrically, but practically space travel has been in consideration for only a couple of decades.
